Dr. Patryk Labuda attended a four-day summit in Lviv, Ukraine to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Genocide Convention and Declaration of Human Rights

From 7 to 10 December 2023, Dr. Patryk Labuda attended a high-level summit in Lviv, Ukraine, co-organized by the American Society of International Law and the Ukraine Association of International Law. Attended by 75 international and 75 Ukrainian legal experts, the summit examined a variety of questions arising from Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, ranging from sanctions and accountability to migration and post-conflict reconstruction. Dr. Labuda discussed his ongoing research on potential aggression prosecutions of Russian officials in a panel on ‘Accountability for the Leadership Crime of Aggression.’
